Life is what
you make of it. Not someone else's idea of what they think you should make of it. Whjat
you make of it.
I turned 40 last year. Married, 2 kids, steady work. No fast cars, no real mid-life crisis, so I can't say I can emphatise with you even.
But... I do know that new video cards have more appeal than other women!

(not more that my wife, though...

)!
The other advice in here is good - look at yourself closely: if you are happy, stay the way you are. If you aren't, look at what needs changing, then go about changing it.
Whatever you do, try to have fun!
Cheers
