Wow, yeah, I would have assumed that was a b/w picture...

How come no colors? Does the world look like that when it snows? Surreal posted a photo on her Weather Site thread, and it looked just like that! Black-and-white!

just a guess, but i would say that the reason it looks b&w is because there is so much white that it takes your mind away from focusing on specific colors and makes it focus on either just white or not white. just a guess...

No I think it does actually turn black/blue and white.... There is a road out there ... somewhere... That was taken Saturday morning. You should see it now....

We've got at least a foot of snow plus 40-50 mph winds. Could make shoveling difficult. I'd post a picture but you can't get any sense of how much there is from inside the house.

21"now. Sleet is starting to beat it down now. Much heavier to shovel too. Plow tomorrow maybe. Three foot drifts in my street.
