Anyone care to help my sister win a Food TV/ Emeril Contest?
Hello all,
Just posting to see if anyone would care to help my sister's chances of winning a contest she entered to Emeril Live. She submitted a recipe for a Chocolate Contest (a Triple Chocolate S'More Pie was her recipe), and it is now one of the final four remaining. Because of this, she was invited to a taping of the show with the 3 other contestants. The show that she was on will be airing for the first time tonight (2-15-03) at 9 PM EST.
The winner from the final four contestants will be chosen from a poll set up at the Food TV website, and the winner will invited back to another taping of Emeril's show. AHA! Now see? Used Submarine knows how to do it, he put the recipe up!!
I'm sending this to my daughter, she's a MAJOR Emeril fan, and I believe she'll be voting for your sister!

There's another version of the recipe that has two layers of chocolate instead of three, with a layer of peanut butter instead. It's even better than this one, but she created it too late to enter it into the contest. It's not as rich, and it's twice as good. I'll try to get the recipe for that and post it up here as well.

Usually we goto the shownotes AFTER we see something that interests us from Emerils show---chocoholics wanna get the jump on things so you may be correct...

Used-Sub, just to let you know, my wife hates Emmeril. But when I told her that a board member's sister was on the show for a recipe contest, she turned it on and we have voted for her recipe.

May I ask why your wife hates Emeril so? I can't say that I watch his show anywhere as much as the rest of my family does, so I have no clue if he's some really annoying chef.
