I hope m fellow TechIMOers in the UK and cricket fans in the US are following the world cup.
Here are my thoughts:
3 months ago, I would have said India had the best chance of taking the cup home. But after their humiliating performace agains The Kiwis, it all went down ... they did manage to beat Holland in the World cup but even then their batting was horrendous.
If you ask me, the Aussies are going to take it home again..
Any other thoughts on who is going to win?.

South Africa missed out by a whisker - but they didn't really play well enough to reach the final six, so it's kinda poetic justice, in a way.
I think it might be Aust vs NZ in the final - but that depends solely upon how well Tendulkar bats in the final series. He's the only current player in the Indian side that can pull them up to the required batting level, IMO.
