10 million join world protest rallies

Up to 10 million people on five continents are expected to demonstrate against the probable war in Iraq on Saturday, in some of the largest peace marches ever known.

But not, so far, in New York, where a Federal judge has upheld Mayor Michael Bloomberg's denial of a permit for the march, on the grounds of possible disorder. (Bet they won't ban the St. Patrick's Day parade, despite a long history of disorder.)

Similiar to the point that the US Military kills (murders?) civilians only accidentally.

But other countries do it with intent.

People are so simple sometimes that they believe everything that the Government tells them.

One reason that I belong to the American Civil Liberties Union. (I'd be a "card-carrying member" except that my wallet is too full of other cards.) Despite all the vitriol poured upon it here, the ACLU is fighting the good fight when others are rushing to sacrifice our liberties to the god Security.

I would like to see what these 10 million people (I am sure they will all be counted accurately) are doing to make the world a safer place? Talk is cheap.

Talk is cheap. I heard a number of the rantings by the people who spoke at the last rallies in January. They're a bunch of morons who are more anti-US, anti-capitalism, than anything else. Sometimes you gotta wonder if they ever listen to themselves later and try and figure out what crack they were smoking. Makes me wonder about all the people who cheered them on too. Wise words by Obi Wan Kenobi: "Who's more the fool? The fool, or the one who follows it?"

That is about right. 1% of people are complete morons. They apparently are motivated morons.
