find government contracts for $500

I work in a machine shop and my boss has offered me a 500 dollar bonus if i can find a way to track when the dept. of defense posts requests for bids for products we have made fopr them in the past. we used to recieve requests for bids from various state arsenals but it is all done over the net now. i need to find out where the bid requests will be posted, then set up a way to monitor them so when our id number is posted it will notify me. any parts we made before have a serial number that has our id as the last 5 digits so all I have to do is track those 5 numbers. im about to start googling and searching my little finngers off so any help would be appreciated
