Talk How do they do that?

Hi! I have been wondering, how I would be able to make a computer generated caracter? Is there any software for a beginner? Its not for playing in a game. I don't want to spend alota money for it.
Thanks!

Hi! Wow! Thanks for the quick responses. What I had in mind is something like clay-mation but it is completely computer generated, or like cartoon caracters, But it looks like it's 3D,
Thanks again!

If you don't have any experience with 3d modeling software you're gonna have a steep learning curve to go through.

Hi! I'm back. I've decided that the software that I'll need would be a 3D modeler. Now comes the big question. What brand, What seller, and Where can I find it for less than $40???
I don't mind if I have to go through a steep learning curve. Thanks for All of your replies!!!!
