As many of you might know I am back in the job market and have been looking for about 2 or 3 weeks now. Well I had an interview with Hershey foods last week but did not get the job. I also had an interview with Sprint and think I have a very good chance to get that one ( 1 of 15 positions ).
I was pretty upset when I found out that I did not get the job with Hershey. It is a dream job with a fortune 500 company. Well here it is about a week later and Hershey wants to interview me again for a diff. position. The job will be upgrading about 400 PC's and I am not sure if anything else will be involved. This is a contract position that a consulting firm is sending me to.
Wish me luck.
Relax, show them confidence. Its ok to be nervous but show confidence in your abilities. Show enthusiasm that you WANT the job!
You'll do fine
Good luck man, keep us posted

I feel real good about the interview. I thnk I got the job, only time will tell. They said that they wanted me to come back in because the person that interviewed me this time wanted to meet me face to face.
Although I was late for it I still think that I made a very good impression.
Now as to why I was late. Well it is about a 45 min drive to Hershey so I figured if I leave 2 hours early I will have plenty of time to get there. The expressway that I got on was fine for the first 10 min. Then it went to h##l pretty quick. The snow was blowing across the roads and every one was slowing down for it. It was bumper to bumper for about 15 miles. It took me about an hour to get through that. So about 5 miles later there was an accident and another traffic jam and another 30 -40 min to get through that. So here I am sitting in traffic for over an hour and a half, very PO'ed. I get to the place and go to the wrong building, there are about 3 or 4 in one location. I get to the right building about 20 min late. The guy who interviewed me thought I was going to be a now show. I apologized like 3 times and explained what had happened. Luckly there was another person there that I had interviewed with before and he vouched for me about the traffic.
Excellent work
Any time there is heavy snow like that, I think folks would be a little more lenient with you... just hope your commute isnt' that bad everyday!!

You might be better off with Herschey than Sprint. Sprint's World headquarters is here and they have laid off quite a few. They're top management is in trouble with the IRS too, funny tax shelters that Ernst and Young set up for them . A little info from the local rag: Sprint
