1. Shane Warne, this beggers beleif! What a twit he is.

2. Did you see Andy Flower and Henry Alonga wore black armbands,
to mourn to the 'death of democracy' in Zimbabwe?
While playing for Zimbabwe in Zimbabwe?
That is brave!

3. Andy Symons made a killer ton against Pakistan.
Just awesome!

I am also a cricket fan, your comment on item #3. We don't call a team from Pakistan as "Pakis". It is derogatory and insulting.
Please ammend your post.

Pakistan is not going to win... although they have the firepower, they don't have the capacity to outrun the aussies proved by the match that just got over. I think Pakistan has a great all round team, but they lack the magic opener or bowler that is needed for every match
If India hadn't lost its touch during the series against the Kiwis, they would have had a good chance... that series just killed their confidence.... a great batting line up has been shaken up. IMO, they need a good solid opener, maybe Sachin should move up to #1.... if they could somehow regain their magic it would be awesome and they could defeat the Invincible aussies...
But my Money is on the Aussies right now....

Remember the last World Cup. South Africa was numero ono, they did not make it to the finals. At this point it is anybody's guess, my money is on NewZealand.

I don't think Rusty meant anything degoratory by using that term for the Pakistini Team. If anything, it was used more as a term of endearment Us Aussies call our mates all sorts of weird things.

I don't think NZ has the depth to win this year. They have some great players, but not enough if one or two don't fire. So I think the Aussies will still be hard to beat for that reason.

But the thing I love about the world cup is how some of the lesser known teams can shine so well, despite the odds. Take Zimbabwe vs Namibia. Some great performances there (like Wishart, who has the smae name as me! ). I love the guts and determination take comes through during World Cup matches!

Hate the politics though. And banned players who blame their mums!

CCiCA, I really thought SA did not make it in the finals coz they had some REAL REAL REAL bad luck. (Klusener - Donald run out, arrogant drop catch of Waugh etc)... but man, that match was IMO, the best match ever......
The Aussies are definitely gonna take it home this year with the way things are going.
India, unfortunately, is sucking BIG time.

The beauty of this World cup is, the daily changes. As of last night Sri Lanka seems to be on top of the World. Can you imagine Vaas taking 4 wickets in the very first over! I loved it.
