Danger Danger! VIRUS ALERT

From [H]ard|OCP:

I had three 250GB arrays blow out last night when this first hit . Be very careful.

Heavyweight operates much like other self-replicating, self-spreading viruses with one weighty exception, it arrives as a compressed attachment. What is unique about this compressed file, such as zip or tar files, is the density of compression. The file is so densely packed that the attachments weighs 1,000,000 times more than normal compressed data.

I do not understand.

I thought I understood on a basic level the concept of storage on magnetic media.

Let me get this straight. If you receive this highly compressed file and store it on magnetic media by changing the polarity of an iron oxide or like medium, it will likewise change the weight.

To simulate a file like this I could simply write 1's on the outter edge of one cluster and the hard drive will break
