I know that Julie London sang this song too in a movie called "The Girl Can't Help It".

I have no idea but looking around for it (because that's one I don't remember her doing) I ran into this http://foia.fbi.gov/monroe/monroe1.pdf now available from the Freedom of Information act. I thought it was pretty interesting anyway.

IMDB comes up with only that 'the girl can't help it', alternative result was 'la salación'.

I did a soundtrack search with 'cry me a river'.
