Does anyone else do this ?

I guess I have to change my thinking on some things, or switch to a 'galactic standard day' timescale,

My current outstanding projects;

Final part of a Visual Basic Level 2 course,
Successfully install a version of Linux on a box I have had sitting around for months,
Finish clearing out the computer parts from the cupboard under the stairs ( everything from AT boxes to 5.25 drives),
Change the mobo on my home server from the old faithful QDI legend V, to a celeron 1gig sitting next to it,

Why don't I complete one thing before starting the next ?

LOL! I really have to force myself to finish things.

Actually I have given this some thought, and decided that:
a) Anything we do is a cycle of action;

b) Every action is composed of 3 parts: Start, Change, and Stop, (meaning you have to START a thing, then whatever you do with it is the CHANGE part, then when you're done with all that, you then STOP doing it, you finish the thing.)

c) Some people are naturally good at at least one of these cycles, but rarely are they good at all three.

Artists (meaning creative people in general) are usually real good about Starting something, and maybe pretty good at the change part as well...but not always so hot on the Stop part.

Law enforcement types don't usually exhibit much Start power, they may be good at Change, or maybe not...but when it comes to Stopping things, whooo-wheee! That's where they really shine.

Just another one of what I'm pleased to call my little "theories"...hopefully, I'll finish 'em one fine day.
