Why We Should Make An Object Lesson of The Taliban.

The Taliban Hosted Al-Queada for many years, fully knowing they were up to the distruction of the United States. Now when the Taliban are in Rout, Countries throughout the World are seeing them "kiss and Make up" instead of meeting the destruction they deserve.

Many other Countries' ruling Cabals are similarly "hosting" Al-Queada. They are watching that instead of the Taliban's utter destruction after Hosting an Act of War and then Military Defeat is "kissNmake-up". And they have their bank accounts in hard-currancy out of their Countries.

Many of these ruling Cabals of Countries that are also hosting Al-Queada are themselves afraid of Al-Queada. Very afraid.

They should be MORE afraid of the United States and its willingness to use its military might to secure their destruction if they continue to host Al-Queada.

We made the mistake before of failing to secure the utter destruction of Saddam Hussein and his supporters. Bush Sr. lost his job--but Sadam is still in power.

We must never make that same mistake again.

The United States must go all the way to secure the total destruction of the Taliban. They were accessories, before, during, and after the fact. The fact was mass murder. It should suffer the same fate of Al-Queada which is its destruction.

Other Countries ruling Cabals will then know their own fate should they continue to host Al-Queada, no matter what their motives--greed, fear, or sympathy.

The Taliban must be totally destroyed with no exceptions.

I totally agree they should be destroyed... but as a country we don't have ther guts to do whats needed. The reason we didn't finish Sadam? Because we were afraid of what other countries and allies would think.. this will be the same with the Taliban. IMO, as soon as we finish with the Taliban, we should finish what we started in Iraq.

However I'm sure this will never happen. Would be nice if it did though.

These guys (north or south, Taliban or Al Queda) don't seem to have real distinctive uniforms or insignia, do they? Pretty hard to tell the players without a program.

In that situation, I'd be tempted to shoot anything in a turban, and ask questions later.

Newly nominated Head of Transitional Afghanistan Governmenrt, Hamid Karzai, is talking Amnesty for Afghani Taliban but not for foreigner Taliban.

kundahar is reportedly ready to surrender in return for Amnesty(have you heard that one before?) and Amnesty would extend to Mullah who is a top Honcho in Kundahar Taliban.

Rumsfield opposes this talk of "ceasefire" as premature.

I hope he does more than just oppose ceasefire.

How come the Taliban only believe in "ceasefires" when they are losing and they are the ones being killed ?

Are they planning an international "ceasefire" on all their activities?

Earlier, before knewly-found peacefulness, they talked of "fighting to the death".

I like the part about"supposed to turn in their weapons:

If they are carring their weapons and fleeing, I call that a military retreat, and they are ALL fair game. You packin' iron, you get shot at until dead or you drop your weapon.GRRR

I sure hope we fininsh the job and get all the leaders and top operatives to face the music. If we don't, we will be going through this all over again.
We didn't ask for this, and now that the taliban and al queda are getting their a$$ handed to them, they want to make nicey nicey like nothing is wrong with what they did and who they supported.
