No.
No one always does the right thing.
If they claim they are not aware or understating the truth.
Creature- why didn't you make this a poll?

no, because vietnam, even though it was intrended to do good, it just killed a lot of us and a lot of them with nothing really gained.
i think all that is true, i was born in 1985 so im not really clear on vietnam that much. if what i said is false please correct me.

There have been times when the US has done things incorrectly. Of course. I don't think there is another country in the world that has done as much good as the US has, though. 60% of all aid to foreign countries comes from the US. This includes many nations that have nothing to give in return, so the conspiracy theorists can be deflected by this.
Was bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki wrong?
No, it saved millions of lives on both sides. In a time where there were no smart bombs, and it took 20-30 bombers to take out one factory, this was our only recourse. Either this, or many many more thousands would have died because the Japanese were so entrenched.
Was the US wrong in evicting Iraq from Kuwait?
No, if we hadn't Saudi Arabia and who knows else, would be under Iraqi tyranny.
Was the US wrong in stopping when it did in the Gulf War?
??? If we'd taken Saddam out and completely obliterated their army, Iran would have had an easy time picking up the remains and we may be facing a much larger Iran. If we had taken Saddam out, then there would not be the problem now. The verdict is still out on this one.
Was the US wrong for being in Somalia?
No we were trying to feed the people.
Was the US wrong in being in Vietnam?
No, we were trying to save a nation from being overrun by our nemesis. The human rights destroying Communists.
Did the US conduct the war poorly?
YES! A graduated offensive is never going to win a war.
Should the US go after North Korea before Iraq?
This is debatable. Iraq's threat and ties to terrorism are more defined and older. We started building up in Iraq before the North Korean threat manifested fully, so it would not do well for the US's credibility or the moral of the combatants if we picked up and moved.
Was the US right in going into Panama?
Yes. I have known several Panamanians who were scared for their lives, that now live freely in Panama after Noreaga was ousted.
Bosnia and Kosovo?
Yes, although the timing is suspect.

| it was not your problem!! a lot of things were not your problem but you helped (a good thing) but in vietnam you helped no one!! you just destroyed everything (NAPALM!!) Quote:
