Haiku
Apologies if this has been posted. Got a copy of an e-mail containing (purportedly) error messages the Japanese use in lieu of the MS error messages. They are written using the Japanese form of poetry known as Haiku (a poem is 17 syllables, 5 in the first line, 7 in the second, 7 in the third), so they are concise but powerful, or at least as useful as the real MS messages.
To wit...
Your file was so big.
It might be very useful.
But now it is gone.
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.
First snow, then silence.
This thousand dollar screen dies
So beautifully.
Stay the patient course.
Of little worth is your ire.
The network is down.
And my personal favorite...
Three things are certain:
Death, taxes and lost data.
Guess which has occurred.
