I just got back from Belvue WA (right next to redmond, and I know the spelling is off). any wayI just got payed $125 to talk about operating systems (Linux and Windows 2000 server mostly)! It was tottaly l337! When I was there I also talked with some others and found ways to beta test games and other software for MS! This rocks! BTW The disscussion was being watched by MS brass behind a one sided mirror! It rocked so much! Esspecially all the MS bashing that went on! lol I like MS, but its so hard not to make fun of them. Any way, any one else doing this stuff? Have the same type of experience? ITs a ton of fun! If anyone gets a chance to do some of this by all means do!

That's pretty cool. How were you able to get this kind of work?

My wife is on a panel for Focus Groups at a local Market Research Bureau. They pay her $85-$150 for about one hour of participation in a group discussion on different consumer products.

Sometimes she is a standby and jsut reads a magazine outside but they still give her the money in cash in an envelope.

Not that frequent though.

LOL, that's what I was thinking! I don't know jack about Linux or Win2K Server really.

Good for you Bob! Sounds like you had a great time...I wouldn't mind doing the beta testing, but I'll leave the Linux talk to you guys.
