USA evidence against Iraq and UN response.

3 hours since Colin Powell made the case against Iraq providing evidence, yet not one topic has been posted. We're slacking here, so let me be the first and I saw the live stream from msnbc.com this morning. What do you think? Pretty damning evidence or trumped up? I think we tipped a significant amount of our intel hand and I heard some intel was withheld due to operations on the ground currently in Iraq. Did you see the Iraqi Mirage F-1 fighter doing low-level practice Anthrax drops with talcum powder? True or not, it was bit disturbing, along with the MiG-21 pilot-less fighter drones converted to bio/chem flying bombs.

Nah Bush has nothing! Iraq is as clean as a whistle. Poor Iraq being abused by the big mean Bush.

Oh the humanity.

I have always maintained that the US has the largest stockpiles of nuklear/biological/chemical weapons in the world.

Whether this report is true or not I can't say. It would be highly unlikely that US would use these bio/chemical weapons against anyone for a simple reason: Fear of retaliation.

Bush is neither BIG nor MEAN. He is a sincere simple-minded guy doing what he believes in.

We better hope he is rite or we is in worst trouble than before.

Actually I believe that russia still has the largest stockpile of all above categories. But I could be wrong. Let us just say we have a hell of alot of nukes. but our government is a hell of a lot more stable than iraq.

I think this is the best opinion on Iraq I've heard, as it parallels mine. Can't wait to hear what he says tonight:

*sigh*

Since the end of World War II the Americans have spent 19 trillion dollars on what they call “defense”. which they spell differently. And define very differently. If you were to spend $26m every day since the birth of Christ, you would have spent less than the Americans have spent on defence since the end of the Second World war.

One year after the terrorists hijckade planes and crashed them into WTC and the Pentagon, George W Bush hijacked the anniversary to link Al Qaeda to Saddam Hussein, when the two have no proven connection.

edit: btw, Saddam Hussein is a "secular" ruler, Bin Laden wants an Islamic state run under "Sharia" Law. They’re enemies

So what do you do when you’ve got a Saudi born terrorist , launching attacks on Yemen, America, Indonesia and Kenya? Well that’s obvious. You invade Iraq.

So that's justice from the people who gave you Guantanamo Bay, and Economic Strength from the people who brought you Enron.

LH - well that's a simplistic view. Perhaps we should just LET Saddam Hussein have whatever weapons he wants. Sure, why not, he'd never use 'em, right?

Better yet, to avert war, maybe he'll decide to opt for exile. He can stay at your house.
