Well, let's give him this: Some people are just plain "slick" with words (pun intended ) some see public speaking as a terrifying thing.

Some people fall inbetween; not bad enough at it to get laughed off the podium, and not good enough at it to escape humorous scrutiny.

Plus, at least GWB's not another Dan Quayle. I know that ain't much to say, but it's something.
