1) Click on the grey "user cp" button just below the new posts at the top of the page.
2) Click on the blue "edit options" button
3) Click on the "change avatar" button in the lower right
4)You can enter an URL of your avatar or You can upload an avatar from your computer.
"Note: the maximum size of your custom image is 64 by 64 pixels or 10000 bytes (whichever is smaller)."
