Kids What is the left lane for?

My feelings? Pass and then get out of the way. If you're in the left lane and you're not passing, you're wrong. Period.

Being a lefty, you know where my vote went

Lead, follow, or get out of the way! The left lane is for passing, otherwise get in line with the rest of the heard

PASSING!!!

All passing should be done to the left of the slower vehicles. If you're not passing, you should move to the right. Pennsylvania passed a law that prohibits vehicles from holding up traffic by traveling too slowly in the left lanes even if they are in excess of the posted speed limit, but unfortunately it's pretty hard to enforce.

In the DC area, it seems to be for a lot of self-righteous people who sit in the left lane at exactly the speed limit.

They seem to think that they're sending a message about obeying the law -- but it's Gresham's Law of Driving: "Bad behavior drives out good."

In Britain, France, Germany or Italy, they'd be roadkill for their bad manners.

Actually I see it as people think they are helping the flow of traffic if they drive in the left lane.
That's what I see a lot in Philadelphia.
