I have an electrical box in my kitchen which has 4 #12 lines running into it. I am attempting to replace the recepticle and the switch that are currently in the box.
The recepticle has 3 outlets on it with no ground slots looks something like this....

..... as it is right now it has one hot wire connected to the bottom brass terminal and one neutral wire connected to the top silver terminal. There is no grounding screw on the recepticle.
In the same box there is a combination two single pole switch. This has 3 hot wires going to three of the four terminals. There is no ground screw on this switch. One switch operates a light over the kitchen sink and the other operates my garbage disposal.
With all this being said, this box is the starting point for a circuit that goes on to more outlets and switches throughout the house. What I need to know is how I can go about replacing what is currently in this box with a GFI and a new combination two single pole switch, (both of which do have grounding screws) ? Also the GFI says not to install it in a box containing more than 2 incoming lines. What do I do???
I really hope that someone can help me with this dillema.
