This is too eerie! I totally forgot about how i originally found my way to sysopt until i just now when i nostalgically went in to see some of my first posts ever at this fine community of friends:

i was at hardwarecentral.com when i heard about MRCS. So i went over there just to secure my username because it was a brand new site. I went back to visit shortly after and saw some fiasco about socalgal being misrepresented, so i read into it, and it linked to this site, and here i stayed.

Then, i had a hiatus from Sysopt for about a year and a half while life was crazy, and i upon my return, noticed an entirely different attitude, (in a bad way mostly) and once again, fatefully found my way back to you guys:

I was wondering what happened to all of you! I was a regular back in 98-99 at Sysopt (if anyone remembers me!) and life got in the way a little after that, so i didn't have a chance to visit. I recently started going back there.... didn't see a single familiar face! ?!?!? I just figured you all disappeared like the Mayans!
I finally stumbled across a 14 month old post putting everybody's name on a list for a b-day card for socalgal that accidentally had been recently replied to, and they mentioned this site. (Happy belated birthday, BTW!!! add my name to the list!)
I thought i noticed a tremendous IQ drop at Sysopt! Now it all makes sense!
It's like I'm just waking up from being in Oz! And you were there MntSnow, and you were there, OuTpaTienT, and you were there socalgal, and you were there Richard Cranium....
(shivering) ... it's cold out... can i come in????
