Hoping onto Paypal bandwagon - silly question

How does the recieving person get their money? In other words, how is money transfered from my bank account/credit card to the other persons hands?

One of 2 ways...depending on how they have their account setup....They will either get a "company check" in the mail or they will get a "direct deposit" into their checking/savings account.

No I don't have a CC. I could have one and would but I can't have a checking account to pay the CC bill until I'm 18 (I thought, anyway).

Thanks Mntsnow

It 18 a requirement your bank makes? I got my first checking account when I was 14. Maybe wrote a total of 200 checks from the day I got it till I got out of HighSchool. If you want a checking account and your BANK is holding you back....find another bank!

I'll ask about the checking account tomorrow.

To finish setting up my paypal account, I have to get the correct bank routing number. Since I don't have checks to look at to see the number, I don't know it. I have a card from 10 years ago when the account was setup but the bank has changed hands once and it has 8 numbers instead of 9 so it automatically doesn't work

Is the routing number something they can tell me by looking at my account?

My routing number is in the FAQ on my bank's site. I'd browse your bank's website and see what they say. It's common to all accounts in that particular bank (IE all routing numbers of 123456789 belong to Foo bank... not really, but that's the idea).
