Do you go to work when your sick
My father recently got a bad case of the flu
He's been throwing up for days and days, not it feel like i'm getting sick too , but i still feel that i have to go to work for financial reasons.
I might infect hundreds of poeple for $80
would you go to work if you where sick and a potential carrier of a nasty virus.

Unless I'm too weak to be able to walk and stand all day, I go. There always seems to be something too important to stay home.

I voted "Yes", but it really depends on how sick I am. Full blown flu? I'd stay home. A cold or something like that, I go to work.

That's what sick pay is all about
No, if I had flu or the like I would stay at home. If a cold, then depending on how bad it was I'd go to work.

You're missing a 'Depends, I'll post below' option.
If I have a light flu or something like that, and if I feel I have the energy then of course I would go to work.
If it is something more serious then no, my health is more important to me |

I HATE to miss work, I'll go if I can get upright & drive 1.3 miles.
Have actually gone in & passed out at my desk before...
But then, most of my coworkers are the same way - we razz the hell out of anyone who dares to stay home & isn't hospitalized - or DEAD!!
Self- inflicted "Brown Bottle flu" was an especially good cause for harrassment - it's a LOT of fun to razz someone over that, we can drag it on quite a while. Hasn't happened for a few years, guess we're all getting too old. Most of our crew has been together for 20+ yrs...
