I say we take back our 16 billion in aid because I would not want them to have this dirty money soil their pure country.

That is a bit of propaganda out in the news.

We blow our starving thing out of proportion.

If you show me an article (not one of abuse) but any article which shows any one starving in america. I will mail you a cookie.

The missing of 5 or six meals a week in the US would be living large to many of the "True starving" in the world. They would be insulted at the thought of considering them in the same ranks as "our starving"

However there are unemployed and sick here in america losing their houses and being driven into bankruptsy by their medical conditions. While we send money overseas to help people with a completely avoidable disease.

How sad...I keep wanting to admire Nelson Mandela, and he keeps shooting off with stuff like this.

Oh, well, Ari Fleischer's earning his paycheck, to wit:

In reaction to Mandela's comments, White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said Bush was grateful to the many European leaders who "obviously think differently".

"The president will understand there are going to be people who are more comfortable doing nothing about a growing menace that could turn into a holocaust. He respects people who differ with him. He will do what he thinks is right and necessary to protect our country," Fleischer said.

I don't believe a word of it, of course, but doggone it, the guy sure talks good!
