Talk What type of sleep do YOU need???

I need me some REM and stage4 cause I've been doin lotsa hard college classes and workin out so I can win the 300m hurdles this year at state! I'm not letting this fruity nightgown wearing guy win again!

BTW from what my spych prof said REM is rebuilding the mind, and stage4 is deep sleep for rebuilding the body.

It goes in cycles throughout the night with you going from level 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 then down to 3 to 2 to REM then back up and down... Yeah, I haven't slept enough cause a HOMEWORK AAUGHHH!!

Hey Bob --

I like to get 3-5 in a 24 hr. period. When I do sleep, just about all of it is stage4, I don't even remember sleeping when I wake up! Dreams are rare, and sometimes I'll splurge and sleep 6-7 hours!

I work off hour shifts so I dont' have to wake up at any particular time of morning
I usually go to bed around 3-4am, and wake up around 11.. so I typically get 7-8 hrs sleep.. but like sharder its a deep sleep, rarely remember dreams. I dont' generally wake up unless I hear something in my room.

Sleeping together is fine Jacob, it's awaking together that causes the problems

I usually get 7-8 hours sleep spread out over the whole 24 hours.3-4 now and little naps throughout the day.

I don't dream, and my snoring is the only sign of life according to my wife, and she says I Snore.

Anyone esle snore so loud they wake themselves up????

I did, and I woke the neighbors as well!!

Notice I said did?!?

After last nose rebuild, I don't hardly snore much. And then it's only a fraction of the previous volume according to the wife!

watch out for sleep apnia(sp?) BC... if your breathing pauses in your sleep may want to check out a doctor..

Is that part of what got you sharder?

I actually did a 15page research on sleep when I was in high school. I got B of it.
My conclusions were longer than the scientific part - yet the teacher liked it

Dream manipulation rocks.
