U.N. is full of morons

Sorry CM and other UN faithfuls, but once again the United Nations has proven itself to be outragously stupid. This is definitely an organization our planet can live without.

UN elects LIBYA head of human rights panel.

Libya? LIBYA???!! Head of human rights? What kind of friggin' joke is that?

Utter and complete morons I tell ya.

Disban the UN now!

Man I agree, I could tell you a lot about internal UN bullshiz (from the office here in Vienna). But you wouldn't like it. So, I'm going to watch Ice Age now.

Don't be foolish Outpatient.

Who better to define abuses of humanity than someone who has dealt out such abuses. They know exactly what to look for.

Your spelling and a few other things are going way downhill. But I remember hearing that too.

Here's the thread.

The story with Libya is that the chair is selected in rotation; it's Africa's turn to pick; and Gaddafi has bought a lot of support with oil money over the years.

I did not think that an idealist group like the UN should be run based on who pays the most.

If it is then you can buy the UN.

If you can buy the UN it has no purpose.

I do not even mind the fact that secretly you can buy it because people are scumm. But when it is part of the charter that just makes it a nasty stupid organization.

Don't tell that to the State Department because till recently the US Government ran the UN like one of its own departments saying it payed for the bills anyway.

I agree on your penultimate statement about peeple, though.
