Will this help curb drinking and driving?

Has anybody seen the Don't Drink and Drive messages with Jacqueline Saburido? Do you think this will make people think twice before drinking and driving?

Not for the faint of heart.

and the story:

Not by itself, but more messages like this eventually get through. That's why there's been a decline in alcohol-related fatalities for the last several years.

Phreakin sad. Especially being a parent.

Wow, I came back expecting to be blasted for posting that. I read through it and I thought it was a story worth sharing. It's very hard to make me cry, but I did shed a tear reading that.

So I posted it on our club website and got totally reamed for showing "that gross stuff" and "you're disgusting" and "I don't want my kids to see that" "this is a family board, not a MADD board" "Delete the !&@!#*( links, we shouldn't be exposed to that" etc etc

I mean, I hang around with those people every weekend and just wanted to remind them not to drink and drive. I don't know them all personally, but I still see them Maybe I'm just a softie?

Ironically, guess who were the only ones who stuck up for me? The KIDS! The younger folks actually said they needed MORE things like that to get through to them....but the thread got deleted anyway. Ah well. Last time I share anything worthwhile with that board....

poor girl. but it won't matter, drunken @$$holes still drink and drive everyday.

I wish they where the one's who's brains get scrapped off the highways!

And yea, that guy better cry, because if I was her father, I would set him on fire~!

It will not be solved until people accept responsibility for their actions. We can hold them accountable all day, but everyone pointing fingers does not solve the problem.

How dare you remind them of something they try to avoid! They are doing so well at keeping themselves insulated in their own little world!

I hope you didn't delete it!
