Total post count question/problem

hey yall. i got curious and tried to find out how many posts i had total including community posts, so i did a search for my user name and it only displayed 713 results. at the time of this posting, my regular post count is 798, not to mention all of my community posts, which should total to around 1000 in all. why 713? why did the search function only show this many?

Do a search on your name and chose the posts option.

One possible answer is that I have noticed from time to time that several months of archives seem to disappear and reappear from the search. I can not explain it and we had the same problem with the previous forum software at the old site.

vBulletin search is flaky. Dunno exactly what, but at times you can't find what you are searching for, then all of a sudden later you can. Has always been like that for every vBulletin site I'v been on (a few ).

I normally average a few searches and let that be close enough.

Cheers
Mick
