Another prayer needed

This is my sons best friend Cole. He is 6. We found out today that he has some form of cancer, and the doctors gave him 20% chance of survival. My son is very upset, and his family aren't doing very well either emotionally.

I hate to see this happen to someone so young. Cole is always here, and like one of the kids.

All prayers and support appreiciated.

Thanks everyone
I hate bringing bad news
BC

Best wishes and prayers for the kid to be in the 20% and get well.

Prayers on the way, BC.

It's hard for anyone to go through that kind of diagnosis, but especially hard when its a kid. I'll pray for Cole and those who treat him. And for his family anf friends, as they try to deal with this.

Right on, Mick!

Prayers on the way. It's really good of you, BC, to be helping out this way, and letting us help, too.

Strongest best wishes to Cole.

Thanks y'all, I found out he has lymphoma.A few weeks ago, the boys were on the trampoline, and they got hurt. My wife looked them over to make sure nothing was broken, and noticed a lump on the side of his (Coles) neck. When Coles mom came to get him, my wife told her to look at it,and they took him to the doctor, who sent them to St.Louis. Once in St.Louis the doctors examined him,and made this diagnoisis.
They have started Chemo(sp??) already, and he is home now,and has to go back in a couple of weeks for more treatment.
There is prolly more to it, but this is what I have gotten so far.
I hate cancer, and to see someone this young with it really rips at my sanity

Thanx

That's exactly what happened to me, (except I had some other problems), I was diagnosed with the same, Guess that's one of the few signs, BTW, he should be Happy it was found, Lymphoma is quite difficult to diagnose from what I've read. (and found, 1 trip to family doctor, 2 trips to ER to find this out)

Also yes, Chemo is correct, I can't say how he'll react to it, I usually feel bad for about a day afterwards, Then am fine, If they put him on steroids (which they usually do) tell him not to do too much strenuous stuff, If he feels like he can move mountains, give him pebbles, it's so easy to overexert yourself.
