I've got "Up Front" by Bill... Cloth-bound. Was my Great-Grandfathers....

Reminds me that I just heard the other week that Stephen Ambrose died sometime in October/November last year...

I was saddened to hear that as well. A hardbound copy of Up Front, which belonged to my dad (a WWII vet) is a prized posession and and of the funniest and most poignant books I've ever read.

Hirschfeld once did my dad, so, obviously, there's a connection to him too. Loved his caricatures.
