w00t. snow days rock.
i had finals today as well...

funny thing is there is no snow on the ground... but they aparently called school off beacuse of cold. its like -1 wind chill of -15 or something i'm thinking about venturing forth in my cold car....
i feel inspired to get a jet lei movie today ..

They close schools in Ohio because it's cold?

Our schools have the flex-close plan. First snow storm, regardless of the amount, schools are closed. Next closing, there has to be at least 6 inches. After they run out of snow days, there has to be at least a foot of snow and it has to be a Monday.

a friend of mine that is a teacher not far from cleveland didn't close their schools either.. but another friend of her's that teaches not too far away DID close their school because ofthe cold. *shrug*

(mind you she's 10 mins from Lake Erie so its COLD with that wind off the lake!)

oh btw, enjoy snow days now while you can..
Once you get into the workforce, you'll be driving past those empty schools on snow days on your way to work
