Avatar locations?

Hey all, is there a site that has a list of avatars one can download? Sort of like the bitmap image download sites?

I don't know of any specifically. Mine was made for me from a pic. Here's what I found on google.

I just picked up a free gif,and worked it over with photoshop. You can use Gifworks if you don't have a graphic editor, or ask the Ministers I'm sure they'll help ya out

I found an avatar I liked on a forum a while ago and just edited it to show some of my favorite things (Athlon MP's and nvidia graphics cards). Ulead makes a nice program to edit gif's so I went out and bought a copy.

Just bear in mind nearly all sites have restriction on avatar size, which can make it difficult to use some images. TechIMO's limit is 10k I think.

The Ministers as mentioned by Brainchild have shrinking avatars to fit down to a fine art.

64 pixels by 64 pixels is the limit. My avatar is 98k. I don't know of any memory limit.

We both is right, Dave.

Note: the maximum size of your custom image is 64 by 64 pixels or 10000 bytes (whichever is smaller).

Maybe mods have different limits?? or maybe yours is 9.8K, Dave?
