-38 C outside right now (1:05 AM)

Those who claim the planet is warming up don't live here.

It was plugged, but the switch to turn on the outlet was OFF.

Car hasn't been used for 6 days in a row at temps from -20 C to current -38 C. Didn't start this afternoon.

It's currently recovering in our warm garage, while the parents' luxurious Avalon sleeps outside heehee.

It's only -20c here with windchill, But still not pleasent a lot of people who have kids walking to school are giving them a ride in or keeping them home, (frostbite sux, been there done that)

Also it was cold enough to burst a watermain downtown, something like 400 million tonnes of water or something like that dumped out. (water was 1foot deep going down the street, washed parts of the road down the street, some homes flodded, no power, no heat, I think they had to put them up in hotels, gonna be a mess.

-38 C ?

Cripes it was 34 C here, and 80% humidity.

Must have drunk a gallon of water at work.
Now settling into a gallon of beer.

I dont know how you guys cope with those temps.

ChrsR.

Same here, Rusty. Was 33C here today - gonna be 41C here Friday and Saturday so the reckon. our humidity is like <10% though, so much drier than Rusty's tropics.

I can take the heat (especially now we have a pool!! ), but would find it hard to accept it getting that cold!

And the pool would definitely be a problem then!

Cheers
Mick

Today in Port Hope we are supposed to have a low of -34 with the windchill. Brrr. Good thing I don't have to go out till later today...when it gets colder.

C drooles F rules.

Man I can never keep that C stuff straight.

For the metricaly challenged.
Dem dair degrees is too big 2 F for 1 C.
finer scale in F so it is better
