what I think of this site
well I'm new here...been here exactly 3 hours, well maybe more, maybe less.
I've been posting at Blackcode.com for a year now, and I must say, I think I'm more at home here; I love modding, overclocking, troubleshooting, and just learning stuff I didn't know before. I just got Red Hat 8 for x-mas (I know I could have gotten it free...I thought that by paying for it, the developers would have incentive to make improvements!) and I'm excited to throw away my M$ dependence.
this site is fun, and there are tons of forums I feel at home in.
I enjoy how there aren't hostile posts (that I've seen) and people here genuinely seem to want to help others. Already I've posted 6 times!
well I'd keep gushing about my new homepage, but I'm thirsty! anyone out there drink Jones Soda ?

Welcome, there a ren't any hostile posts, and if there is they don't last long. this is one of the best tech sites on the net,and the best people hands down IMO

welcome as well.

techimo is generally a very friendly place and most people are well-behaved. we did have some annoying posters (two that i've personally witnessed) but thankfully they have been banned.

well I'm from New England, and we say "soda." lol pop always sounded like a prerequisite(sp?) for "corn" or that bubble wrap oem hdds come in or that old guy at the corner grocery store.

i tried that jones stuff one time and i thought it was good but now none of the stores around here sell it anymore. so i can never find it
