Copywrites
I have some original music that I would like to copywrite. What is the best, cheapest, quickest way to do so.
They used to say send it in a letter to yourself, and the postmark would hold up in court, is this true, or a digital encryption or something.Or where do I send the CD?
Thanx

Try here. Note that it's spelled copyright, as in, the rights belong to you. Past tense is copyrighted, not copywritten, as many folks say.

Here is another source of information for you: http://www.copyright.com/Help/HelpCopyrightFAQ.asp
As for the sending a package to yourself containing an example of the work (and not opening it once you receive it)..... I think that is something you can/should do while waiting for the copyright to be granted.
