isn't it natural that for an object the size of a bus traveling 50,000 mph and striking earth to leave such an imprint on the ground.

Thanks for the link that lead me to finding the main Image index, Vern.

Absolutely stunning and awesome photos taken from space and by astronauts.. fascinating .. humbling...
