Question for Cali people!!

Although I am in Cali, I still don't know this question..
Where does Nor*Cal turn into So*Cal?
Any rough ideas? I am too lazy and tired to look on a map right now.

Hi, Mike, The line of demarcation for "Southern California" starts at the northern end of Westlake Village, and proceeds to points south.

However, all points north of this line are not necessarily "Northern California", as it is believed that "N.C." starts around Fresno and points north.

The area in between is known as "Middle Earth".

Central is a gorgeous coastal drive from Pismo to Monterey, or inland thru the wineries on the way south.

It's the dividing line between where the ACLU of Southern California (www.aclu-sc.org) and the ACLU of Northern California (www.aclunc.org) hold sway. (Sorry, but I couldn't find out from their websites where the frontier is.)

You'd think a map with the demarcations of Northern, Southern, Central would be easy to find.. but, nooooooo... even the Thomas Guide and Rand McNally sites don't seem to have what I want (unless I missed them... )

I haven't found any visuals but I did find what should be a pretty acccurate account of where it all begins.. and ends.

Maritime Mobile Service Network . It covers all the Pacific Coast so you have to scroll down a bit
