Systems XP audio codecs and drivers - help desparately needed

On good advice, I deleted the audio and video codecs and drivers from XP.

On rebooting, I have discovered Media Player will not play CDs - an unrecognised format.

Is there any way of reinstalling the codecs/drivers to get the Player to work again.

Thanks for any advice

Welcome to TechIMO

For questions like these you'd be better off putting them in the proper forum like Apps & OS's

Stick around and enjoy

If all else fails download the new player Here or you can get a different player like wimamp which is much better IMO

This is where the App and OS thread is that you posted. Please keep it in one forum only and make sure it is the most appropriate forum.
Thanks
