so, i get a email/call from hp.

Dane,

This is regarding a order you placed for some hp literature. The company, Yellow Freight, would like to deliver, but we need a vaild phone number Can you provide a phone number?

Thanks,

HP/KP

So, I Do, And I Get A Call Like 3 Seconds Later.

Dane: Hello

HP: Yes, This Is KP/HP. I'm Calling About Yellow Freight Wanting To Drop Off Your Shipment.

Dane: Ok, Sounds Good. What Did I Order Again?

HP: Hold On. <Few Seconds Later> Your Ordered Some Posters And Literature. Lets See, 500 posters, & 2 boxes of literature.

Dane: Ok, Sounds Good.

HP: We Had To Put The Posters, And Two Boxes On A Pallet.

Dane: A Pallet?

HP: Yes, A Pallet. You Ordered About 4,000 posters total, 500 each, so we had to strap them to a pallet, and put the 2 boxes on top.

Dane: Umm, How Much Does This Weigh Then?

HP: Lemme Check. 455 Pounds.

Dane: 455 pounds! oh my god 455 pou

HP: yes, 455 pounds.

HP: well, do you want them to ship it to your door?

Dane: (Thinking The Worst!) Umm, Umm, Thinking, Oh (censored) 455 pounds!

HP: well?

Dane: No Thanks. I Have No Way To Store All Of That. I Thought You Would Ship Via UPS, And Roll Them Into Tubes!

HP: <seriously, I'm not making this up!> <laughter!>

Dane: You Can Have Them Shipped Back. I Can't Store 455 Pounds Of All That!

HP: Okay Dane, We Will Have It Shipped Back. Thanks For Your Help!

Dane: Okay Thanks For The Call!

END OF CALL

OMG!

<calming down>

I Live In A 2 Story House, But I Can't Store All Of That! What Would My Mom Say?!!!???

Anyone Else Had Anything Bizarre Happen Like This? Surely, There Are Thrilling Stories Like This Out There!

LOL. 455 pounds! You'd spend some serious time unloading that.

Um....so why did you order it?

You're lucky you didn't charged for return shipping.

did you order that many posters? You had to know that many posters would weight quite a chunk. Why would you order that many posters? IMO i think anyone has the right to back out of an order if its not going the way the way they want the order.

Huh? I'm confused...he said he ordered 500 posters. About 50 lbs. worth.

How did H-P shipping transform that into 4,000 posters?

What was the question again?
