What kind of computer user would patronize such an obscenity (this being the only reason it thrives)?
The kind that would buy a Packard Bell. The kind that lets the Best Buy salesmen talk them into buying $1000 worth the extra equipment that they'll never know how to use. The kind that calls tech support to ask what's wrong with internet exploerer when they're not online? The same type who fills a hard drive full, and then claims the builder doesn't know what they doing, and sold them a piece of crap, because it doesn't hardly work anymore. These very users caused a massive surge in the technology sector, as everyone was buying, even if they didn't know how to use it. But they also inflated prices of this equipment, causing retailers to incorporate the need to cover what should have been billable support, consulting, and repair due to user neglect into the cost of the system or product purchase.
