New family member

A lady that my wife works with told us about some cats that have been outside of a restaurant for about 3 or 4 months. Everything was fine with them until the manager at the place said they had to go. Well these cats were about 75 yards behind the restaurant and were causing no harm, probably helping by keeping the mouse population down.
So anyhow we go over there the other day and get one of the cats. She is almost full grown and is all black except for some white on her chest. She is very friendly and always wants attention. The other cats are still getting used to her so there is some hissing and growling yet.
I was just happy to get her out of the cold and give her a warm place to stay and something to eat.
I will post a pic as soon as I get a decent one of her.

That makes 4 cats, a rabbit, and a snake.

BTW I named her Gizmo.

You're a GOOD man, korgul !!!! We have the dog, 2 cats and a few fish floating around. Rescued the Tom cat from the barn where we had our horses and he keeps the squirrel population on an even keel LOL.

Good job korgul! And don't forget the Natures Miracle for the accidents when she's learning the litter routine.

(I've been thinking I want another cat so it will be fair against the dog 2 to 1 ) (( well, it's a big dog!))

She already uses the litterbox so that was not a problem. We think it was someones pet that they didn'y want anymore. it really is a shame cuse she is a very pretty cat.

surreal there are 2 or 3 more over there that need homes, if you are interested. I wish I could get them but we are running out of room as it is.

When I was growing up we always got all of our animals from a good friend of ours that took in abandoned, and abused animals She had one named denthead (unfortunately yes there's a reason she named him that ) actually a good dog too.

I also look forward to seeing the kitty
I've always liked cats we sometimes had 4 cats, 3 or so dogs, a bird, some fish and god knows what else when I was growing up

Welcome Gizmo to the family
Umm and no... don't put her in water
