Oooh, oooh me, me, me!!!
I passed my Algebar & Geometry class with a 56...and still got into university. Mind you, I was entering the humanities, so math wasn't really a big deal.

The only use I put geometry to is trying to help my kids with their homework, which can be very trying...
Dear 2nd grade teacher,
Being spatially challenged, I was unable to help my daughter complete her assignment tonight. It was a very trying evening in our household. My daughter is very upset and afraid she will have to stay in from recess.
I rarely even attempt to help our 9th grader.

Geometry was daunting to me too in High School. But if you seriously make an attempt to understand the logic and apply straightforward "rules" solving any problem is a breeze.
And extremely satisfying.
I would suggest that you try and understand the fundamentals - this is essential in solving problems. There's not that much to memorize- it's the application of certain rules, theorems, riders....to a situation.
Once you have the fundamentals clear, Geometry is actually enjoyable.
And I'm not being sarcastic or perverse.

Geometry is one of the first disciplines we learn in school to teach logical thought and problem solving. Those who grasp it have an easier time in life. As stated before, we are willing to help.

I use geometry in my head fairly often, but not so much in the sin/cos/tan stuff.. but definately figuring out my distance based on two other distances.
I didn't mind the math part so much, it was the theorems and proofs that killed me.

| You couldn't have said it better, Vass. I honestly don't think I remember a single proof or rule from geometry.
Stick with it, you will get it. Is there anything in paticular you need help with?
