I always let XP update its self. I look through them first to make sure all is in order, but it's better to keep uptodate with security wholes.

Well I got one of XP's update but I had disabled all the autoupdates. Didn't like it going out and doing stuff without my permission.

Cyclone that is the way it was till you came in Guess no one was interested till you came hopping along.
