I agree, if there had been a product out there that he could of used this wouldnt' of been necessary. He was simply creating a tool to allow him to watch HIS movies that he PURCHASED. Those tools weren't available so he rolled his own

What would be the point of having movies if you can't watch them ?

Even "legitimate" movie players must disable the protection to play them, so why not sue DVD players makers too ?
