My new passion

These are some pics taken from my Holiday over New Years, a friend had a Firestaff down there that we had lots of fun with.

1st thing I did when I got back home was to make a Firestaff, so did another friend, we even managed to get a spot performming at a big outdoor dance party this weekend.

That looks neat but just a tad dangerous, Vert.

What fuel do you use, and how do you put the thing out?

Cheers
Mick

Hmm, got curious, and found this site. Sounds even more dangerous than I thought.

Is this the kind of stuff you mean, Vert?

Cheers

We use Kerosene, the wicks on the staff are made from Kevlar, because of this the fire does not burn at a high heat, I hit myself many times without burning myself, just leaves a black mark, does singe hair though. The fire on the staff just burns itself out and then you soak the wicks in more Kero and light up again for more fun.

By saying this I am not saying that this is entirley safe and you have to be pretty on to it, although I did hit myself many times with the staff I only burnt myself once and it did hurt.
