why is there anything? matter, space itself? we know(or we think we know) how it came to be but why? what caused there to be anything ,even space itself? versus true nothingness? just my gears turnin...

It's exactly like the which came first, chicken or egg question. There is no way to tell. It just is. Too someone as powerful as God, I'm sure He could find ways to not be bored. Maybe thats the answer to the question. He was bored. I dunno. But things are the way they are...and why worry about it?

Yes it was God that made everything, but I don't have any answers beyond that concerning the matter.
