too bad about NY not keeping thier calm, instead retaliation cost them about 30 yards just in the last minutes which would have been a TD.

Best game of the season for the entire league. But with the 49ers, you never know who will show up next week. I guarantee they won't be able to come back from any deficit against Tampa Bay.

It was the second largest comeback in NFL playoff history. Heck, I even wrote the Niners off at the half, and I've been a fan for 30 yrs! Never did I imagine they would pull this one off.

osprey4 - How can you guarantee that? The Giants D' is just as tough as the Buc's, and yet SF scored 39 on 'em.

I watched the Steelers - Browns game but missed this one. I had to shovel and then went sledding with the kids. Sounds like I missed another good game.

Go Steelers

Incredibly good playing, despite unneccesary roughness. GJ Niners!

We'll take a WIN any way can! Remember, the NY Giants got a "free" TD when Cedric Wilson muffed the punt! I didn't know the Niners resigned the drunk, Vinnie Sutherland--who took over the kick return duties. Sutherland is really a good kick returner, but was dropped from the team after the preseaon. I think it had something to do with him being the driver in a hit and run and then hiding in the bushes at training camp!

The Giants defense is no Tampa Bay. Not by a long shot.

Anyway, just glad I don't have to listen to any more talk about a "subway" Super Bowl. What an idiotic statement! Both teams play in New Jersey, so how do you get a "subway" Super Bowl?
