Falcons!!!
I'm no fan of the Atlanta Falcons (although as a Va Tech grad, I follow Mike Vick's career with interest), but they are really putting a hurt on the Packers in Green Bay.
21-0 toward the end of the first half
Go Falcons. Nobody picked them and their earning some respect tonight.

This is VERY surprising!
I like both teams (my fav team is NO) and hate that they have to play each other so early. I think Sherm made two bad moves. 1 in not challenging that punt "fumble" and the other in rushing on 4th and goal. Well, at least I know ONE of them will make it to the 2nd round.
I think you, osprey4, will be happy with my predictions so far of the SB: Oakland and Philly. Although, if the OAK line keeps doing such a good job of protecting Gannon and making holes for their RBs, OAK will be very hard to beat.

ahh I've been a cheesehead all my life, despite growing up in 49er/raider territory. The pack is playing like my 5th grade flag football team. What the heck is going on??

Serves 'em right for losing to the Jets and knocking the Pats out of the post-season.
I hate to say it, but the Jets will be in the Super Bowl. 80+ points in two games. Whoa.

Superbowl is gonna be up for grabs now. Odd year again. What's funny is you get all these rookie QB's coming in the game with nothing to lose, putting up nice numbers and all the Pro's choking when it comes to crunch time. Same as last year.
I'm gonna have to say the Raiders will stop the Jets, only because they will have to play them in Oakland and the Raiders are just as hot. As for the NFC, who the heck knows. There is no real super, high powered offense. Well maybe the Eagles. I think it's the AFC that will win another Superbowl.

Oddly enough, two of the four teams the Da Bears beat this year are really coming on, and I really hope end up in the Superbowel this year. The Falcons and the Jets! Go figure. Now if only the Bears could get Carson Palmer! Will screw it up somehow. I have no doubt about this! |
