When we went through Windsor, I needed birth certificate and passport, as well my mom. (I am dual citizen and she is Japanese citizen. My dad took his birth certificate and social security.)
Toronto is a great city!!
No express post... leaving early tomorrow morning. Looks like I have to bite the bullet... and drive to Niles after work (2 hours) ti pick up birth certificate, then directly to my girlriends in Ann Arbor (2 3/4 hours). Not gonna be a great evening =(
As for the drive into Toronto... taking the 401 to the 427 South to the Gardiner Expressway (QEW?). The place I am staying is about 5 blocks North of that... just going to park the car and leave it for the weekend, walk to the theater.
just hope for no tractors on M60
Well ya got a good time, the tractor population should be pretty thin in the wintertime
Unless you're taking 94...
Don't blink through Vandalia.. you'll miss it!

ahhhh vass... when you log as many miles between EL and Niles you find ways around all that fun stuff... I use Decatur Road as an extension of 94 =) gets me around all the little speedtraps except for Cass... I average about 75 MPH doorstep to doorstep =Þ
hmm my dads wife is from the lansing area (holt?) so he goes up there all the time..
Yes its nice to have a 70MPH highway available

Yeah, they clocked an american doing over 200KPH on the 407, (thats about 120MPH) I think the record is still over 240. (407 is a new toll road that takes you along the north side of Toronto, 2 lanes, all concrete, average speed is about 130KPH. (100 posted but they won't pull you over for anything under 135. provided there are other vehicles on the road.
Gardner Expwy is the end of the Queen Elizabeth Way.
